In an age of superstar scientists, Brian Cox is easily one of the most recognisable with the physicist and television personality returning to Australia to tour his new stage show Making Sense of the Cosmos.
The particle physicist (who in a former life was part of the dance pop act D:Ream – remember Things Can Only Get Better?) is along with Bill Nye and Neil deGrasse Tyson one of the foremost science communicators. Professor Cox aims to take science to a new dimension with Making Sense of the Cosmos, which will tour Australia in October and lands in Melbourne on Saturday, October 18.
With the new show, the University of Manchester Professor and BBC presenter will “take audiences on a dazzling journey through space and time, at times delving into ‘high science’ and at others freewheeling on the edges of the known cosmos”. Australian media and science personality Adam Spencer will host the show.
Tickets go on sale Monday, May 19
