Rod Stewart Australian tour 2015

With a massive string of hits behind him, British rock icon Rod Stewart has announced a 2015 tour of Australia and New Zealand, appropriately titled The Hits.

From his early days with The Jeff Beck Group and Faces through to his enormously successful solo career, Rod Stewart remains one of the highest-selling artists of all time. Selecting a set list for his The Hits Tour will prove somewhat difficult, with songs like Young Turks, Maggie May, Sailing, Do Ya Think I’m Sexy? and Baby Jane – all Top 10 hits in Australia – barely scratching the surface of his 40-plus-year, hit-laden career.

In 2013 Stewart returned with his first album of original tracks in nearly two decades. Time debuted at #1 in the UK, marking the longest gap between chart-topping albums in British chart history.

Joining Rod Stewart on his 2015 Australasian venture will be former Australian Crawl frontman James Reyne. Tickets for all shows go on sale on Tuesday September 16, with a pre-sale going live on Thursday September 11. Head to Frontier Touring for all details.
