The Angels announce Australia 2014 tour

January 2014

  • Jess Bayly

Legendary Australian rock band The Angels are hitting the road in 2014 with a new album.

Formed in Adelaide in 1974 and then relocated to Sydney, The Angels are recognised as one of Australia’s hardest working bands on the international music scene and best known for their 1976 hit single Am I Ever Gonna See Your Face Again.

The guys, Dave Gleeson [vocals], Rick Brewster [lead guitar], John Brewster [rhythm guitar], Sam Brewster [bass] and Nick Norton [drums] are set to hit the road this month in what is proving to be a massive tour spanning over a three month period in Australia’s capital cities and rural areas, noteably joining Suzi Quatro and The Black Sorrows on The Red Hot Summer Tour.

The new album, Talk The Talk, featuring all new material – their second studio release with Dave Gleeson at the helm – is due for release on Jan 17, two years after their top charting album Take It To The Streets.

The Angels will play The Corner Hotel on Thursday 27 March 2014
